Develop your position:

Brutus was more of a patriot than a betrayer because he was doing what was best for Rome in

the long run. When you recollect of the best fashion to get rid of someone, one of the first things that

comes to listen is killing them. Now, killing someone isn't usually an option. There's no reason to

contribute to the law-breaking rate and there are other options. However, we're talking about killing

Julius Caesar, a villain and a menace to Roman society. He wasn't doing anything skilful for

Rome, and was really doing more than damage than anything. So, killing Caesar was a viable and

smart option. However, one reason Brutus was a betrayer rather than a patriot is definitely his

speech at the funeral. He states that he killed Caesar because he loved Rome more than than he

loves Caesar, but there were other options he could've considered before killing his best friend.

He could've locked Caesar up, fabricated him disappear, poison him to make the expiry look natural,

and even then there were tons of other paths he and the grouping that stabbed Caesar could accept

taken. Killing Caesar was not the only choice, and it shouldn't take been the starting time.

Outline your argument:

I. Brutus is a patriot doing what is all-time for his hometown

II. Counterclaim

A. There were other things he could've done instead of killing Caesar.

B. None of them would've solved the problem equally quickly, and they needed a fast

option.

C. Him killing Caesar might not have been the best idea leading-wise.

D. Rome would've been far worse off if Caesar had stayed in power.

Three. Claim

A. What Brutus did was for the good of his country.

B. He killed Caesar with the intention of putting a improve leader on the spot.

C. He didn't commit the crime alone.

D. If you were pinpointing Brutus equally a traitor then you'd have to peg every 1 of

those men as a traitor.

Write your argument:

Despite the statement that Brutus betrayed Caesar and wasn't doing anything good for his

country, it should be realised that he at least thought he was doing something good. He figured

that if he was killing Caesar with the clear intention to make life better in Rome , then he was

doing right by Rome, and that does fit the bill for a justified murder.

Still, many will argue that he could've washed something else, like kidnap Caesar and take

him somewhere as well Rome, or simply try and sit to have a civil conversation with him.

But that wouldn't accept had the immediate effect they wanted and needed. Information technology would've taken

longer to plan a kidnapping and even longer to talk it out with Caesar, and even doing the latter

they risked Caesar condign unwilling to listen to them on anything.

If Caesar had stayed in power, Rome would have gone down in flames. He did what he thought

was going to be best for the land, and that simply happened to be gathering a group of friends

and killing off the ane you hated the most. Which brings out another point of: if you were going
